Social Media & community management · CASE STUDY

A healing-centered community founded by Dr. Jay Barnett, built for men and women doing the real work of emotional growth, accountability, and honest connection.

Just Heal Experience

THE BRAND

More than a page, but community people pay to be in.

Through Just Heal Bro, Just Heal Sis, live webinars, a podcast, and transformational in-person experiences, it create spaces where people can heal in real time and grow together.

It's a brand where the audience isn't a metric, it's the product. Which meant growth couldn't just be loud. It had to be genuine enough to turn followers into members who show up.

WHAT I OWNED

The heart was strong.
The social presence wasn't keeping up.

01

Low engagement

The audience was there, but quiet, content wasn't sparking the saves, shares, and conversations that signal a healthy community.

02

No content system

Posting was sporadic and reactive. Without a rhythm, there was no momentum to build on and no reliable way to grow.

03

No event funnel

Events were happening, but social wasn't running a real funnel so reach never turned into registrations or new members.

Content strategy

01

a clear, repeatable system built around the brand's message and its members.

How I Thought About It

Growing a healing community isn't about going viral, it's trust at scale.

01

Reels to reach, system to retain

Short-form videos put the brand in front of new people. A consistent rhythm turned viewers into followers, and followers into community.

02

Story before sell

Connection comes first. Storytelling carousels carried the healing message in a way that earned saves, shares, and real conversation.

03

Every campaign points somewhere

Content wasn't made to just exist, but itt moved people toward something, an event, a lead magnet, the community itself.

Short-form video was the single biggest driver of the growth. These two reels did the heavy lifting.

THE CONTENT THAT DID THE WORK

STORTYTELLING CAROUSELS

Short-form video was the single biggest driver of the growth. These two reels did the heavy lifting.

Where reels brought people in, carousels made them stay which were built on a hook → narrative → payoff structure that drove saves and shares.

GRAPHICS AND LEAD MAGNETS

Supporting design and lead-gen pieces built to turn attention into action.

HOW THE EVENTS WERE BUILT

Turning scrollers into a room full of people,
then members.

STAGE 1

Awareness

Reels and shareable content introduced each event to a cold audience and the existing following, building early buzz.

STAGE 2

Engagement

Storytelling carousels and community interaction warmed the audience up and built anticipation.

STAGE 4

Convert & Retain

Registrations became attendees, and attendees were guided into the Just Heal community.

STAGE 3

Lead Capture

Lead magnets and clear CTAs converted interest into contacts we could nurture.

THE TAKEAWAY

The follower count was the headline. The system was the real work.

A content engine and event funnel that didn’t just grow a page, they grew a community people wanted to belong to.
